Top 5 Bathroom Cabinet Ideas

Back to memory lane, I grew up having my own bathroom. We all did at home; me and my sisters, my brothers, the master’s bedroom and one for the guest room.  All of those bathrooms fall under the full bathroom size which is a minimum of 36 to 40 square feet and have the same amenities except for the masters. The layout was different. It was a walk-in type with a bathtub and the only bathroom without a cabinet. Perhaps because there was no need for it since it was directly connected to where the dresser cabinets were. In the children’s rooms, one small bathroom cabinet with a mirror that looked like a medicine cabinet was installed right above the sink. It was where we placed our toiletries.

If you have a bathroom size similar to ours and you don’t know where to place your personal necessities,  you don’t have the means to remodel your bathroom and worst, you can’t do anything about it since you are just renting the place, then it’s time for you to explore on the following bathroom cabinet ideas:
  • Make use of your portable stairs: These kind of stairs are narrow and will, therefore, fit into the narrowest area of your bathroom like beside the toilet seat or even at the corners. Its design is convenient for everyone in the family from the tallest down to the smallest member. You can put your neatly folded towels on the lowest level, the toilet papers in a basket on the next level, a jar of cotton, hair and body shampoos on the next and the smaller items on the last level which is the smallest step. You can also hang your body scrub loofah at the sides.
  • Convert a plain table into a bathroom table: A small square table can take the place of a bathroom cabinet. The bathroom linens at the bottom; your toilet paper in the middle and toiletries at the top or whatever suits you. It can also be an ideal place for your reading materials and your cell phone if you spend hours sitting on the throne.
  • Tiered trays: This comes in handy. You can put it on the countertop of your bathroom vanity if you have one, on the floor, or you can bring it with you when you shower. You can even use it in your kitchen for fruits and veggies. These are cheap and won’t cost you much.
  • Hanging organizers: The back of your bathroom door is the best place to hang these organizers. It is often the least considered area in the bathroom for storing your necessities but it can be very practical and a hundred percent space saver! It can also serve as a good storage area for your shoes if you ran out of spaces in your closet.
  • Standing rack organizers: The perfect area for this is at the back of your toilet seat. Just select amongst the many racks available at the shop that can accommodate your things and make sure that its height will not hit your head when you have your nature’s call.

These tips are very affordable and convenient. It is fun reinventing your bathroom but even more, if you are making use of your creative ideas without having to spend a huge amount of money.
